Get started with DrivingTest Helper IE in just a few simple steps to begin finding and booking driving test cancellation slots.

Step 1: Download the App

Step 2: Open the App and Enter Your Login Code

Once the app is downloaded, open it and enter the login code provided by your instructor or the person who referred you. If you don't have an instructor, you can use the code ANVAYA to access the app.

Step 3: Validate Your Account

After entering the login code, complete the validation process within the app. This step ensures your account is active and ready to find and book driving test cancellation slots. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the validation.

Step 4: Main Screen After Validation

Once your account is validated, you can go back to the main screen of the app. This screen will display your current status, including whether you can book cancellation slots. Ensure that the status indicates you are eligible to book slots. If not, refer to the Troubleshooting section below.

Your status must indicate "Can Book Slots" to proceed with booking cancellation slots. If your status shows otherwise, refer to the Troubleshooting section for guidance.

Step 5: Set Up Notifications & Autobooking Settings

To ensure you never miss a cancellation slot, follow these steps to configure notifications and autobooking settings:

  1. Select Test Centers:
    Go to the app settings and choose the test centers where you'd like to take your driving test. You can select multiple centers to increase your chances of finding a suitable slot.

  2. Enable Notifications:
    Turn on notifications in the app settings to receive instant updates about slot availability and booking confirmations.

  3. Set Autobooking Preferences:
    Activate the autobooking feature in the app settings and specify your preferences, such as acceptable dates and times. This ensures the app automatically books a slot that matches your criteria as soon as it becomes available.

By completing these steps, your app will be fully configured to notify you of available slots and automatically book them based on your preferences.

Step 6: Activate Your App

When fully set up, the app will display a red warning with an activation button. Click this to request account activation from our team. After submitting the request, you will receive a link to complete the payment and activate your account. Once activated, the app will automatically check for cancellation slots and notify you when a slot is available.

Additionally, you can enable the autobook feature in the app settings. This feature allows the app to automatically book available slots for you based on your preferences, ensuring you don't miss out on cancellations.

Troubleshooting

If your status indicates Cannot Book Slots, here are some possible reasons and solutions:

  • First-time test takers:
    If you're taking your first driving test, you may not have completed 6 months on your learner's license or finished your 12 lessons yet (or 6 lessons in the case of Reduced EDT).

  • Retest candidates:
    If you're trying to book a retest, there is a cool-off period of 15 days after a failed test before you can book a cancellation slot. Ensure you have passed this 15-day period.

  • Older accounts:
    Most accounts over 2 years old are not able to see cancellations. If this is the case, you can wait for the app to validate your account. The app will notify you if your account is able to book cancellations or not. If it comes back with "Automatic Validation Failed!" then you're out of luck and need to contact RSA to investigate your account and get cancellations enabled.

  • Temporary unavailability:
    If none of the above applies, it is likely that there are no cancellations available on the website at that given moment, and the app was not able to see cancellations from your account. The app will validate your account in the background for the next 2 hours and notify you when it's completed. If it fails, then some condition (either mentioned here or not) applies to your account, which does not allow you to book cancellations.

  • Other conditions:
    If validation repeatedly fails without a clear reason, it could be due to specific conditions tied to your account. Refer to the app's notifications or contact support for further assistance.

Important Notes & Tips

  • Session maintenance: The app requires re-login every 2 hours to maintain your session for instant booking capability.
  • Notifications: Keep app notifications enabled to never miss slot availability.
  • Autobooking settings: Configure your autobooking preferences in the app to automatically book available slots.
  • Older accounts: As mentioned, accounts over 2 years old may have restrictions. Persistent validation attempts may help.
  • Validation retries: If initial validation fails with no apparent reason, try again every 2 hours as slot availability fluctuates.
